This is an assignment where I had to create a mockup for a potential portfolio website using Photoshop Elements. In Photoshop Elements, I learned how to use layers and selection to create a complex mockup.

The second component of the assignment is to take the mockup I created and turn it into a real, static web page. I really enjoyed this component, but it was a challenge to get all the HTML elements to fit together the way I wanted. It was especially challenging to use floats to create a complex layout and making the layout work for many different screen widths. If I did it today, I know I'd have a much easier time.

I learned so much about HTML in the first semester that I'm really impressed with myself. I learned basic HTML, CSS, Javascript, accessibility, and proper syntax for those languages.
